Just a good match for a getaway in Brownsville with excellent value for money. I enjoyed the complimentary dinner on weekdays, especially the creamy broccoli soup that was surprisingly tasty. Check the complimentary breakfast hours to maximize your stay.

I had such a nice time here! The staff was super friendly, and I loved the fresh cookies they had waiting for me. The picnic area was a cool spot to chill. Just wish the Wi-Fi could've been a bit faster, but everything else was solid. Overall, a great place to unwind!

Spent a fantastic time with the family here! The spacious two-bedroom suite was perfect for our group of seven, especially with four babies in tow. We enjoyed exploring the nearby Gladys Porter Zoo. seeing all those animals was a blast for the kids!

For dads, it would be great if there were more play areas for kids.

Took a long stay at the Homewood Suites in Brownsville and found it to be a solid choice. The one-bedroom suite offered a kitchenette that made meal prep easy—got my own electric stove, microwave, and even a coffee maker with supplies. The workout area had just three machines but the basketball court out back was a fun way to stay active. I loved the complimentary dinner on weeknights, especially the creamy broccoli soup. it added a special touch. Also enjoyed the daily breakfast, which had a good variety. However, I did notice some issues. The fridge had a lingering odor, and there was a noticeable scent of air freshener mixed with tobacco in our suite, which was off-putting. The furnishings felt dated and could use a refresh. The check-out experience left something to be desired, as I wasn’t asked about my stay or thanked for being a guest. It felt a bit impersonal. Still, the hotel is conveniently located near restaurants like Olive Garden and offers easy airport shuttles, making it a decent home base while in town.

homewood suites is my go-to for trips! it’s right in the heart of everything, making dining and shopping super easy. the spacious room felt like home, and manager alex provided exceptional service throughout our stay. my dog was welcomed too, which was a huge plus!
